Using Your Social Profiles To Generate Email Subscribers
Every sport is a combination of offensive strategies and defensive strategies.
Earlier in this module you started reaching out to people on social media and your personal email to build your list…
That was you being on “offense”.
Now, instead of reaching out to them, we’re going to set up an easy way for your current and future social followers to join your list – we’ll call this “defense”.
You see, when you’re active on social media, it’s common for people you’re interacting with or who find you to check out your profile…
Making your bio on all of your accounts prime real estate for building your list.
Here’s what you’re going to do:
Step 1: You should already have a basic call to action from the previous lesson that you pasted in your email signature.
We’re going to do a simple modification to make it fit your social bios.
Instead of…
“Follow my journey as I create a newsletter about green smoothies. Just reply with “I’m in”.
We’re going to tweak it to this...
“Follow my journey as I create a newsletter about green smoothies. Message me with “I’m in” and I’ll add you.”
Step 2: Now, take that reworked call to action and paste it in your Facebook “about” section, Twitter Bio, and LinkedIn Headline.

Adapt this to make sense on any social media platform of your choosing!
