Manually Backload the Eager Sneezers (Parts 3 & 4)
Good work in the last lesson!
You’ve now manually reached out to 75 people to ask them to join your list.
99% of people don’t make it this far.
Congrats on not being scared to get outside of your comfort zone.
Your reward?
MORE MANUAL OUTREACH.
Today's assignment: Reach out to 50 LinkedIn and Twitter contacts and send them a personal invitation to join your list.
Remember: Don’t spam your friends. Individually craft each email to the person you are sending it to.
Here is a sample script you can use for your LinkedIn contacts:
Message 1: I’m working on a new project. Mind giving a little feedback?
Message 2: [once they affirm] Thank you! I’m starting up a new project where [insert your customized beginner's hook].
I’m still finalizing all of the details before I launch. But I thought it might be something you’d be able to give some good constructive feedback on based on [reference relevant past work].
Mind if I add you to my pre-launch list so you can give your feedback and opinion before I send it out to everyone?
Message 3: [If they respond affirmatively] Great, thanks! What is your email address?
Real-life example of Message #2:
Thank you! I’m starting up a new project where I show business owners who suck at design how to freshen up their logos so they look like a legitimate business and not a mom-and-pop shade tree company.
I’m still finalizing all of the details before I launch. But I thought it might be something you’d be able to give good constructive feedback on, based on your experience managing content at KISSmetrics.
Mind if I add you to my pre-launch list so you can give your feedback and opinion before I send it out to everyone?
Here is a sample script you can use for your Twitter contacts:

Message 2: @[username] Cool, thanks! Follow me and I’ll DM details.
Message 3: (Part 1) DM[@username] I’m starting a project where I teach entrepreneurs who suck at design how to properly design their homepage to get more customers….
Message 3: (Part 2) DM[@username] ...Would love to get your opinion and feedback on my material. Mind if I add you to the pre-launch list?
