How to Find the Best Websites for Guest Posting
Let’s start by talking about how to find good blogs to guest post on.
There are two steps…
Step 1: Find potential blogs that are guest post candidates.
Step 2: Pre-qualify those blogs.
There are two up-front filtering criteria you need to be sure any prospective blog meets before spending time on your post and pitch.
Criteria #1: They are topically relevant to your industry.
Example...
If you are building an email list of graphic designers who are heavily interested in logo design, posting on a website about dog training would be a waste of time.
However, posting on behance.com (a blog dedicated to digital design) would make a lot of sense.
Criteria #2: They accept guest contributions.
Some websites simply don’t accept guest contributions of any sort.
Spending your time writing and pitching to sites that will not publish your work is a waste of time.
..
Your job is to make a list of 10 blogs that fit the above two criteria.
I’ve made a tutorial video to show you a few tips and tricks to finding blogs in your industry that you never knew existed AND that meet the above criteria.
