An embarrassing story (and video) about me.

A few years back I was selling stuff I found at thrift stores and yard sales on eBay. I got to be pretty good at it and eventually did it as my full-time job.

Well, one thing led to another and I ended up getting kicked off of eBay and having $20,000 frozen by PayPal.

That was not a good day.

Needless to say, I had to find work FAST.

But my problem was that I had just moved to Nashville and didn't have any connections, and the industry I had been in was in the tank. So I did what any self-respecting person would do...

I went to Craigslist to find a job.

Fast forward 6 months and I had become a trained ballroom dance instructor.

Just the other day I came across an old training video.

Moral of the story?

Don't be afraid to do stuff that's embarrassing, awkward and wayyyy outside of your comfort zone.

Dancing turned out to be one the most fun things I ever did. I sucked at it, but it was a blast.
